In this camp participants will learn the magical art of using ink on water to create amazingly colorful designs on paper. Suminagashi is a Japanese paper marbling technique. Literally, the word means “ink floating.” Swirling patterns can be created by dropping ink on the surface of water and then placing paper on top to lift the ink. 

Medium: ink, water, mixed media paper. No prior experience necessary.
