CHARLOTTE BALLET CLASSES AT CAIN CENTER FOR THE ARTS: ALL CLASSES START THE WEEK OF AUG. 28, 2023
CREATIVE MOVEMENT
Ages 3-4
Saturdays, 9 AM – 9:45 AM
Tuition: $801.00 ($89 per monthly installment) + Registration Fees
In a fun and encouraging environment, students explore musicality, rhythm, creativity and movement through space. This class introduces age-appropriate stretching, basic strengthening, balance, motor skill development and coordination. Students meet once per week for 45 minutes. No prior dance experience is required.
PRE-BALLET
Ages 5-6
Saturdays, 10 AM – 10:45 AM
Tuition: $801.00 ($89 per monthly installment) + Registration Fees
This class introduces classical ballet vocabulary, emphasizing musicality and individual creative
expression in a fun and easy-to-learn manner. Students meet once per week for 45 minutes. No prior
dance experience is required.
BEGINNING BALLET
Ages 6 – 9
Saturdays, 11 AM – 12 PM
Tuition: $855.00 ($95 per monthly installment) + Registration Fees
Fundamental ballet exercises are introduced while maintaining an emphasis on musicality,
development of body strength, alignment, and the joy of moving. Students expand their knowledge of
French ballet terminology at this level. Class meets once per week for 60 minutes. No prior dance
experience is required.
BALLET 1
AGES 7+
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5 PM – 6:15 PM
Tuition: $1,539 ($171 per installment) + Registration Fees
Ballet 1 classes are available by audition only. Ballet 1 requires two classes per week in the same section. Please choose the class section that best suites your schedule (additional class sections available here).
