CREATIVE MOVEMENT
Ages 3-4
5 weeks: June 17 – July 20, 2024
Saturdays, 9 AM – 9:45 AM
Tuition: $110.00
Fees: $50.00
In a fun and encouraging environment, students explore musicality, rhythm, creativity and movement
through space. This class introduces age-appropriate stretching, basic strengthening, balance, motor
skill development and coordination. Students meet once per week for 45 minutes. No prior dance
experience is required.
DRESS CODE
- Pink or skin tone color tights (worn under the leotard for female identifying dancers)
- Solid color leotard
- Skin tone/pink ballet slippers
- Hair slicked back and secured in a bun, French twist or so there are no loose ends
PRE-BALLET
Ages 5-6
5 weeks: June 17 – July 20, 2024
Saturdays, 10 – 10:45 AM
Tuition: $110.00
Fees: $50.00
This class introduces classical ballet vocabulary, emphasizing musicality and individual creative
expression in a fun and easy-to-learn manner. Students meet once per week for 45 minutes. No prior
dance experience is required.
Dress Code
- Pink or skin tone color tights (worn under the leotard for female identifying dancers)
- Solid color leotard
- Skin tone/pink ballet slippers
- Hair slicked back and secured in a bun, French twist or so there are no loose ends
BEGINNING BALLET
Ages 6 – 9
5 weeks: June 17 – July 15, 2024
Saturdays, 11 AM – 12 PM
Tuition: $145.00
Fees: $50.00
Fundamental ballet exercises are introduced while maintaining an emphasis on musicality,
development of body strength, alignment, and the joy of moving. Students expand their knowledge of
French ballet terminology at this level. Class meets once per week for 60 minutes. No prior dance
experience is required.

- Solid color leotard
- Skin tone/pink ballet slippers
- Hair slicked back and secured in a bun, French twist or so there are no loose ends
CHILDREN’S BALLET PLUS
AGES 7-10
5 weeks: June 17 – July 20, 2024
Tentatively scheduled time: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5PM – 6:15 PM
2 days per week with the option to do a 3rd flex day. Parents must pay for 2 or 3 before the start of the program.
Tuition: $415.00 (2-day), $570 (3-day)
Fees: $50.00
Students continue to increase their technical proficiency in ballet and play dance games to develop improvisation and musicality. More challenging steps are introduced with a continued emphasis on musicality, body alignment, overall strengthening and the usage of French terminology.

DANCE CAMP – Leap with Luigi & Friends
AGES 3-6
June 10 – June 15, 2024
9AM – NOON

Do you have a child at home with a big imagination who loves fairytales? This summer join Charlotte Ballet Academy for one of our weeklong storybook camps! Favorite storybook tales and adventurous themes come to life through dance, music and crafts! This camp is perfect for children who love to let their imagination run wild and explore new creative outlets like art, storytelling and of course, dance. After a week of creating, playing games, singing songs, and exploring new movement, this fun, activity-filled experience culminates in a studio performance for families on their final day of camp. No previous dance experience required! This camp is meant to be a fun-filled week in a safe environment for campers to play and meet new friends under the instruction of our nurturing Academy faculty.
