Cain Center for the Arts rents out the Performance Hall, Large Classroom, Small Classroom, Dance Studio & both Lobbies. You can view information on each space and its pricing here.
Unfortunately, Cain Center for the Arts does not offer any discounts.
Cain Center for the Arts can be used for a wide range of activities including but not limited to, concerts, comedians, dance performances, board meetings, birthday parties. Cain Center for the Arts is committed to providing the best possible event space for all types of events.
The following items are required to rent any of Cain Center for the Arts spaces:
- Rental Inquiry Form
- Signed Rental Agreement & Policy Form
- Certificate of Insurance
- Detailed Schedule of Events for your rental.
All rental clients must provide insurance for all rental spaces. The policy must cover and include the renter itself, its officers, directors, employees, agents, third parties and external vendors and must also list Cain Center for the Arts as Additional Insured with 2 million dollars in coverage (and workers comp if applicable.
The easiest way for an individual to get insurance coverage is through a carrier that offers special event coverage. He/She can either contact the agent/firm that handles their personal insurance coverage (i.e. Homeowners) for assistance or there are a number of online resources to get this coverage direct via the web. A quick Google Search of “Special Event Liability Insurance” will provide a number of options.
As you go through the process of applying, the following information will help you: The policy must cover and include the renter itself, its officers, directors, employees, agents, third parties and external vendors and must also list Cain Center for the Arts as Additional Insured with 2 million dollars in coverage (and worker’s comp if applicable).
Rental of the Performance Hall includes the following spaces:
- upstairs & downstairs lobbies
- 2 dressing rooms backstage
- 1 Green Room backstage
Use of sound board, lighting equipment & projector are included. Please note that Cain Center for the Arts staff are the only operators allowed to use the equipment.
Additional equipment included are 8 handheld mics, 4 wireless lapel, 4 SM58s, 4 Beta 58s (all 58s are vocal), 4 SM57s, 4 Beta 57s, 5 Senn 906s, 2 AKG 414s, 3 SM81s & 1 B52 (kick drum). Additional equipment is available for rent. A production manager is required for all events using the Performance Hall and is a separate charge.
Cain Center for the Arts Technical Director must approve all personnel.
All ticketed events must be handled through the Cain Center of the Arts box office. Users may not print, distribute or sell their own tickets for an event without going through the Cain Center for the Arts and Etix process and approval.
Use of outside marquee, indoor TV’s & basic email blasts are available for any event that Cain Center for the Arts sells tickets for, including rentals. For events and rentals that are free and tickets are not sold, use of marketing spaces and email blasts can be utilized with a fee. Renter is responsible for designing any marketing materials including marquee and TV graphics.
