Participants will examine the portrait paintings of some of the most celebrated painters from around the world -Modigliani, Matisse, Frida Kahlo- and will produce a portrait following these great artists’ use of color and techniques to achieve expressiveness and convey a personal interpretation of a face. Campers will have an Arrgh-fully good week of building! Sailing the seven seas and building tall-towered castles is what this camp is all about.
