GENERATIONS: OPEN CALL

GENERATIONS: HIGHLIGHTING INDIGENOUS PEOPLES, CULTURES, & ARTWORK

Cain Center for the Arts is excited to announce its first featured exhibit focused on Indigenous and Native Peoples, entitled Generations: Highlighting Indigenous Peoples, Cultures and Artwork.

This upcoming exhibit will be open to the public from Nov. 12, 2024, to Jan. 10, 2025. Cain Center for the Arts has partnered with the Catawba Cultural Center, Melungeon Heritage Association, and more to develop the collaboration. Our organization cordially invites all artists focusing on cultural, traditional, non-traditional, and modern Native American art to submit and apply to this call.

Cain Center will accept 2D and 3D work of all kinds. Please note that participation is not strictly limited to Indigenous Peoples or People of Native American descent. However, all art must focus on Indigenous cultures, peoples, or history. All submissions are reviewed by participating organizations who reserve the right to deny entry based on the intention of the exhibit.
