HOW WE DO IT

Cain Center for the Arts Education & Community Impact programs fit well with companies’ education and diversity initiatives. YOU can help us make an even bigger impact in Lake Norman

We’re committed to 10% of all of youth participants in art classes and summer camps being supported by scholarships so they can access the arts no matter their means

We offer community access tickets for performances so that we can keep the arts accessible for all of our neighbors

We provide opportunities for students to perform alongside world-class musicians such as Broadway star Mandy Gonzalez and violin sensations Sons of Mystro

Our popular Community Music Lesson programs gives children access to nine month of music lessons and a free instrument at no cost

We enable talented teens in our area to tackle challenging repertoire like the innovative “Be More Chill” on a mainstage production in a professional theater

We partner with the Town of Cornelius and the Smithville Community Coalition on a powerful annual Black History Month program

We bring arts into Lake Norman area schools, and also offer school performances in our space for local students to get early exposure to music, theater, and dance

We enliven the community by offering free art classes and fun creative opportunities for youth and seniors in our area, including bilingual programs.
