THEATER – PERFORMANCE SEATING
Cain Center for the Arts’Â state-of-the-art theater has seating for 400 people. All seating is elevated seating. The theater is fully ADA compliant, and offers 12 accessible seats. The theater also features access to the audience from the stage.
The Orchestra seats 192, the Rear Orchestra seats 79, and the Balcony seats 130.
Included with the theater rental are:
- Â 2 backstage dressing rooms (accommodating 6 people each)
- Green Room (accommodating 5 people)
- Downstairs & Upstairs Lobbies
- Use of the sound board, lighting system, and projector
Cost: $1,800 per day*

THEATER – BANQUET/DANCE
The theater can also transform into a banquet hall or large dance floor with the stage extending out into the orchestra. This set up can accommodate up to 300 guests for events with a full dance floor such as a high school prom or college formal.
Dinner tables and chairs, or cocktail tables, can also be brought into the space to accommodate other events such as award celebrations, anniversary parties, family reunions, and more! Capacity for these events is dependent on layout and sizing of specific tables, chairs, decorations, etc.
Cost: $1,800 per day & $3,500 for installation of platforms*
(Please note that a staff member from Cain Center for the Arts MUST operate technical equipment and are charged on a per hour basis) Banquet tables, chairs, and cocktail tables are not provided by Cain Center and must be rented separately through a certified rental company.)Â

LOBBY
Cain Center for the Arts offers a unique event experience with the 1st Floor and 2nd Floor lobbies. The lobbies are located on the front of the building with glass windows overlooking the Cain Center Patio. Each lobby comes with access to bathrooms, open floor plan & sound system with microphone. Rental of the lobby includes both the 1st Floor and 2nd Floor lobbies.
Cost: $150 per hour/3 hour minimum
Maximum Capacity: 350 with no tables or chairs/varies with tables & chairs
BOARD ROOM
Cain Center for the Arts’ board room is located on the second floor and has a beautiful view of downtown Cornelius. The board room includes 8 tables and 20 chairs and comes equipped with all the equipment to host in person or virtual meetings. The tables and chairs can be removed and used as a large open room. The carpeted board room also comes equipped with a sink, carpet and cabinet top space.Â
Cost: $35 per hour/3 hour minimum
Maximum Capacity: 24 seated/50 standing with no tables or chairs

LARGE CLASSROOM
Cain Center for the Arts’ large classroom is located on the first floor and comes with 16 tables and 32 chairs. The tables and chairs can also be removed and used as a large open room. The large classroom also comes equipped with multiple sinks and cabinet top space.
Cost: $65 per hour/3 hour minimum
Maximum Capacity: 24 seated/75 with no tables or chairs
SMALL CLASSROOM
Cain Center for the Arts’ small classroom is located on the second floor and comes with 8 tables and 16 chairs. The tables and chairs can also be removed and used as a large open room. The small classroom also comes equipped with a sink and cabinet top space.
Cost: $50 per hour/3 hour minimum
Maximum Capacity: 16 seated/ 40 with no tables or chairs
