The International Choral Composers Institute (ICCI) welcomes top choral and vocal composers from 6 countries to present new works in their 2nd WORLD PREMIERES CONCERT. Special guest artists include two-time GRAMMY AWARD WINNER, HILA PLITMANN who can be heard as a featured vocalist on many film scores and soundtracks like The Da Vinci Code, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice as well as vocalist and rising Broadway Star, CHESSA METZ. METZ is an actor and singer/songwriter who made her Broadway debut in the 2x Tony-Award-Winning musical, “SUFFS” and was featured soloist for two NYC CARNEGIE HALL premieres. METZ also recently starred in a Gala concert at our very own Cain Center! Included will be works by some of our multiple award-winning lyricists and composers, SHERRY BLEVINS, TONY SILVESTRI, RAPHAEL FUSCO, VICTOR JOHNSON, ZANAIDA STEWART ROBLES, TODD BOSS, and KATE JANZEN. The program will include FUSCO’s and BLEVINS’ recent Carnegie Hall premiere with solo by METZ for “Stay Here with Me”, BLEVINS’ “Rimani” with PLITMANN on vocals, and new ICCI emerging composer & lyricist works featuring the ICCI Choir and guest artists of Charlotte Chamber Choir and Charlotte Master Chorale conducted by MATT WETMORE!
