Camp Description: Through coil, pinch, and slab construction, campers will be guided in the creation of
their own uniquely designed sculptures/vessels. Campers will be taught glazing techniques to decorate
their completed works. This course is designed with each camper’s personal expression in mind. We look
forward to seeing how campers put their own spin on traditional ceramics forms! Please be advised to wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting messy! Closed toed shoes are
also recommended. Students are welcome to bring their own apron and sketchbook to camp. Students are
also welcome to bring cookie cutters to class to utilize in their projects.
