YOUTH- School of ColorJanuary 12th – February 16thPrice: $80.00Ages 7-12 Thursday, 6:30pm-8pm Instructor: Maria Roca School of Color is an introductory, project-based painting class designed for participants with little or no previous experience. The emphasis of this class is the development of artistic expression through colors and textures. Each week, participants work on a project that builds a foundation in basic skills and reflects the child’s personality while developing a sense of accomplishment. Some of the themes will include abstract painting, artists around the world, exploration of elements in nature, and whimsical animals. These projects are carefully thought through to nurture children’s natural spontaneity in their approach to art. Participants work with acrylics on canvas boards.***Cornelius Residents will use RESCODE for Cornelius resident price.***

YOUTH- Create with Clay: Ceramic StudioJanuary 12th – February 16thPrice: $155.00Ages 10-16 Thursday, 6:30pm-8:30pm Instructor: Taisia Mills This ceramics class provides the opportunity to explore the joy and the challenges of working with clay. Students will learn how to make pottery on the wheel while also while learning how to roll coils, build slabs, & create textures and unique surface patterns while sculpting their own unique pieces.***Cornelius Residents will use RESCODE for Cornelius resident price.***
