YOUTH- School of ColorJanuary 12th – February 16thPrice: $80.00Ages 7-12 Thursday, 6:30pm-8pm Instructor: Maria Roca School of Color is an introductory, project-based painting class designed for participants with little or no previous experience. The emphasis of this class is the development of artistic expression through colors and textures. Each week, participants work on a project that builds a foundation in basic skills and reflects the child’s personality while developing a sense of accomplishment. Some of the themes will include abstract painting, artists around the world, exploration of elements in nature, and whimsical animals. These projects are carefully thought through to nurture children’s natural spontaneity in their approach to art. YOUTH- Drawing 3-D – Studio BJanuary 10th- February 14thPrice: $95.00 Tuesday, 4:30pm-6pm Instructor: Chris Boudon Students will draw and color in imaginary 3-D landscapes, using geometric forms such as cones, pyramids, cubes, and rectangles. Explore various media such as pencil, marker, crayon, and color pencil. Explore perspective drawing. This class will help students learn techniques that will help their art work become realistic, and multi dimensional.
