Everyone’s welcome, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist. Class structure offers hands-on demonstrations and studio time. We’re going to get playful with watercolor and acrylic paints, using masking fluid and masking tape to create cool layers and unique negative spaces. Plus, we’ll add some extra fun by experimenting with collage materials and stencils to create awesome surface textures. Let’s make art together! *Please bring watercolor or acrylic paint and paintbrushes to the first class. All Level Hand building- Ceramic Studio July 25th – Aug. 22ndPrice: $175.00 Tuesday, 10:30am- 12:30pm Instructor: Renee Calder In this class, we will focus on the basics, focusing on a variety of hand building tips and techniques. This will be a project-based class with ideas and examples that will challenge and build your skills. We will focus on pinch, coil, and slab and begin applying ways of combining these to make more both functional and sculptural pieces. We will explore not only hand building techniques but a variety of glaze and other surface design treatments.
