Students will be asked to follow a theme of their choosing and to imagine different pieces for the totems. We will wash, underglaze and glaze the pieces and arrange them on steel or galvanized rods and give you numerous ways to set them up for display inside or in the garden. Students will need to purchase rods or ask instructor to supply them at cost. Totems are a great way to express your creativity and so fun for the garden or the home. Themed projects such as animals, birds, a cultural display, flowers, tubes etc can all be expressed through a beautiful totem. This class is all about fun!
