ACCESSIBILITY

Cain Center for the Arts strives to make art accessible for all its patrons. Our facilities, including art galleries and theater, are fully accessible. Accessible seating for performances is available in several locations throughout our theater. We also have Assistive Listening Devices available for every performance at Cain Center for the Arts. We’re always looking for new technology and programming options that may better enable patrons to enjoy our offerings.

All accommodations can be requested in advance through Cain Center. For accessible seating, patrons can purchase seating that is specifically marked through the ticket buying process. If accessible seating needs to be requested after tickets have already been purchased, patrons can reach out to tickets@cainarts.org.

For assistive listening devices, patrons can also reach out to tickets@cainarts.org to request a device or multiple devices for their use. Those devices will be prepared and will be available for pickup at guest services right in the lobby of Cain Center in advance of any given performance.

While contacting the venue in advance is preferred, any requests for assistive listening devices can also be made to guest services on site directly before an event.

A Cain Center staff member will respond to any patron asking for accommodation with confirmation that the request was received, as well as any necessary instructions for that patron with regards to action needed in advance of an event.

Patrons seeking any accommodation should approach guest services in the main lobby at Cain Center on the day of the event. Cain Center staff and volunteers can provide assistive listening devices and/or help direct patrons to accessible seating.

There are several accessible spaces adjacent to Cain Center for the Arts on Milling Way. Please view our parking map at www.cainarts.org/parking for more details and to see a parking map.

We do not currently offer any sensory programs, although we are always looking for opportunities to better serve our community through expanded offerings. Stay tuned!
