Description: In this engaging, hands‑on class, students will learn how to create clay forms specifically designed to showcase bold and beautiful surface decoration. Participants will explore how form and surface work together while gaining practical experience mixing and applying colored slips. Through guided demonstrations and studio practice, students will learn decorative techniques including sgraffito, mishima, and slip transfers, and how to incorporate them seamlessly into their own work. Emphasis is placed on experimentation, creative expression, and developing a personal decorative style.
