Description: Discover the art of wheel throwing in this beginner-friendly pottery class designed to spark creativity and build foundational skills. You’ll learn how to center clay, shape basic forms, and understand the essential techniques behind creating simple vessels on the potter’s wheel. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands dirty. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into tools, materials, and studio practices. This class offers a welcoming environment to experiment, learn, and enjoy the tactile joy of pottery. There are no classes on the week of July 4th.
