Camp Description: Cartooning Basics introduces kids to the techniques behind expressive, lively character design. Campers learn how to use simple shapes to build poses, facial expressions, and personality. Each day includes quick sketching, guided demonstrations, and plenty of time to develop their own cartoon characters. By week’s end, students will have a strong set of drawings showing a clear understanding of shape language and expressive illustrations.
