This introductory class will teach you about linocut – a type of relief printmaking where you carve into a surface, removing the negative space so you are left with the image. You can then use this image for printmaking, for stamping, for anything your imagination can think up! We will learn about carving tools and techniques, printmaking, and have fun playing with the different ways we can use our linocuts.
