This six-week course introduces adult students to the fundamentals of colored pencil drawing through nature-based studies. Each class will focus on building essential skills, including shading, layering, color blending, and creating the illusion of depth and texture.

Students will begin with value scales and basic color theory, then apply these concepts to draw simple natural forms such as sticks and berries. The course will conclude with a finished drawing of fall oak leaves, incorporating techniques learned throughout the class.

Designed for beginners or those looking to strengthen their drawing foundation, this class offers structured guidance in a supportive environment.

No prior experience is necessary.
