Campers begin by sketching familiar Pokémon for inspiration, then transition into designing original creatures by combining features from their favorite characters within a chosen elemental type. Throughout the week, students create a set of custom creature cards on pre-printed templates, building a personal deck that showcases their new designs. Create harmonious colors that look great with each other, create exciting colors that sing, learn and create great color schemes that will make a painting work, create dark and light values of colors for impact, and create opaque and transparent paint colors for variety and excitement in your painting. After mixing the colors, you will learn how to combine them in simple paintings or studies. In each class the teacher will have a lesson/demo and then help each student with color mixing and their projects. This class is for beginners or more advanced students. Acrylic paint will be used for the demos, but you may use other types if you are experienced in them.
