This inspiring evening will feature a live auction, powerful performances by Christina Eagle and her band, and opportunities to support the first responders who dedicate their lives to protecting ours. Pharos Parenting presents Stand Up for Good

  Stand-Up for Good is a comedy show fundraiser benefiting Pharos Parenting and their child abuse prevention efforts in North Mecklenburg County!   This year’s headliner is Andy Forrester! Forrester has been performing comedy since 1999 and his brand of off the wall humor has made him a club favorite all across the country. His high energy and animated routines have landed him spots opening for such headliners as Marc Maron, Tom Segura, Leanne Morgan, Louie Anderson and Gilbert Gottfried.   His likeable, self-deprecating, fun and easy-going style is friendly to everyone as he walks you through the mind and life of the man many call BiG”A”. Family, movies, a love of a food, traveling, and living with his two little girls are a treat for everyone to hear about the funny life of this family man.   The show will be opened by Nevin Sharma. Sharma is a writer and comedian from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His writing has appeared in The Onion, Points In Case and Slackjaw Humor Magazine. His debut sketch comedy album, “Schmingle Bingle: A Comedy Album For Everyone” is available to stream on all platforms and his three-part comedy special “Nevin Sharma: Folksy” is available now on YouTube.   Nevin is also a recipient of the comedic artist in residence grant from the Steel City Arts Foundation. Now for something more humbling; Nevin currently holds zero world records, though he hopes to change this in very short order through hard work and/or bribery.   Pharos Parenting is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Statesville and serves Iredell and North Mecklenburg Counties.
