We will focus on techniques for shaping pots with an eye for form and proportion. We will look at techniques for making lids and handles, with a goal to improve these complementary skills in making beautiful pots.Pre-Requisites: Must be able to comfortably center and throw 5 lbs of clay  ***Cornelius Residents will use RESCODE for Cornelius resident price.***

This will be a project-based class with ideas and examples that will challenge and build your skills. We will focus on pinch, coil, and slab and begin applying ways of combining these to make more both functional and sculptural pieces.  We will explore not only hand building techniques but a variety of glaze and other surface design treatments.  No Pre- Requisites  ***Cornelius Residents will use RESCODE for Cornelius resident price.***

Ballroom Dance Workshop

“Come learn ballroom social dance in a relaxed and fun environment!! In this 4-week workshop we will learn the basics of the Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha Cha Cha, Merenge’ and more!
