Nature Inspired Ceramics Age: 16+ Day: Thursdays Dates: July 23 – Aug 20 Time: 6PM – 8PM Location: Puckett Pottery House Room: Hand Building Instructor: Marisa Abate Description: Attendants will create different projects inspired by nature. Using a variety of hand-building techniques, participants will be encouraged to explore texture, form and shape as they are inspired by natural forms. Throwing Sets on the Wheel Age: 16+ Day: Wednesday & Friday Date/Time: July 15 (5:30PM-9PM) & July 17 (6PM-8PM) Location: Puckett Pottery House Room: Wheel Throwing Room Instructor: Ava Mccolskey Description: Throwing matching pieces on the wheel can be difficult but take this class to learn tricks to make it easier! This class can help you achieve consistent shape, height, and overall form when creating sets of bowls, plates, mugs. The first day will consist of working on throwing a few matching forms and the second day will be trimming and any decorative carving or adding handles. Use code RESCODE for Cornelius Residents only.
