Cain Center for the Arts is proud to present Generations: Highlighting Indigenous Peoples, Cultures, & Artwork, a special exhibit running from November 12, 2024, through January 11, 2025. This vibrant exhibit offers an extraordinary exploration of the art and culture of Indigenous Peoples, showcasing historical, traditional, and contemporary works from artists of Catawba Nation, Melungeon Heritage, the CHamoru Diaspora, Cherokee, Gullah, Lumbee, and more.
Visitors will experience an inspiring collection of visual arts that reflect the richness and diversity of Indigenous cultural legacies and their evolving narratives. Special thanks to our partners the Melungeon Heritage Association, Catawba Cultural Center, and Brooke Gibbons for their critical support of this project. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, is available for viewing Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
