In this class, we will focus on the basics of working in ceramics both learning how to throw in the wheel as well as hand building tips and techniques. This will be a project-based class with ideas and examples that will challenge and build your skills. Over the course of the session, you will gain experience using the wheel and also slab building to create both functional and sculptural pieces.  We will also explore a variety of glaze and other surface design treatments.
